For us security is essential. We have adopted excellent defense systems to enable you to purchase securely on our website.
Payment data is not saved on CiaoBikeItaly and we only use the best and most reliable external payment services: Paypal.

Is subscription to the newsletter necessary? What advantages does it bring?

Subscribing to CiaoBikeItaly Newsletter is absolutely optional.

In any case, we invite our customers to sign up to receive information and promotional communications regarding discount products, interesting articles and guides, news and much more.

Subscription is totally free of charge and does not entail any purchase obligation. It is also possible to cancel the subscription at any time and decide in which mailing list to subscribe.

At CiaoBikeItaly, we are committed to being always available to our customers, so we have created a support service both pre and post sale.

You can contact us via e-mail, telephone or contact form (in the contact page and in the contact sections of the website), for any questions regarding our products and/or services, purchases made or for news.

How can I access / edit my account data?

You can check, view and edit your account details, including billing and shipping data, in the user control panel.

How can I delete my account?

We hope that our customers will remain our customers and friends.

To delete your account permanently, you will have to send an email to support @ ciaobikeitaly. com, sent by the e-mail account with which you registered on the website, with the object “Final account deletion of [your username] on CiaoBikeItaly.com”.

Example:”Final account deletion of Mario Rossi account on CiaoBikeItaly.com”.

We would be grateful if you could enter the reasons for this choice in the email, of course it is an optional choice.

For security reasons, deletion of the account will be handled within 2 to 3 working days.

Products / Purchases

How can I buy the products I see on the website?

You can purchase the products by adding them to your shopping cart, after which you will have to checkout. To finalize the purchase of products you will obviously have to enter your billing and shipping details (if you are not already a registered user) and proceed with payment.

Once your payment is complete, you will receive a confirmation email and your order will be shipped as soon as possible.

What are your accepted payment methods?

In order to ensure higher security during transactions, we mainly use the Paypal payment service, which currently accepts the following credit / prepaid cards (official link):

  • Visa Electron

  • Aura

You can also pay with your personal Paypal account; Bank Transfer (the order will be accepted only after receipt of the money); Cash and Cards in our store, located in Turin, Italy.

Remember that the connection between the user and Paypal, the user and CiaoBikeItaly.com, are protected by a security certificate with HTTPS/SSL protocol, that is, all the information is encrypted and cannot be violated by third parties.

What are your methods, costs and delivery times?

Your orders will be collected by our couriers within 2 days of confirmation of payment.
Shipping times vary according to the courier and the type, weight and volume of the order. Generally speaking, delivery times may vary from 2 to 4 working days for Italy (except for the islands and Calabria)*.

As far as EU countries are concerned, the times vary according to destination.

CiaoBikeItaly relies on the following couriers:

  • Poste Italiane
  • BRT
  • DHL

Shipping costs vary according to the weight and total volume of the package.

The Customer is obliged to verify upon receipt of the Products ordered:
(a) if the number of packages delivered corresponds to that indicated on the transport document;
(b) if the packaging is intact;
(c) if the Product(s) delivered complies with the Purchase Order.
The Customer shall underwrite the delivery note indicating ”’subject to the check of the integrity of the products'”; if this does not happen, the Customer may not subsequently contest the external non-conformity of the Product and its quantity with respect to what has been ordered.
(d) if the quantity of the Product is different from that ordered and paid.
In this case, the incident must be immediately reported by e-mail to CiaoBikeItaly for the necessary controls.
With the option of collection on site at Boeris Bikes (located in Strada Municipale di Mirafiori 2, Turin, Italy) it is possible to collect the order immediately after its confirmation of acceptance. The order must be collected within 5 working days of receipt of the acceptance confirmation. After this period the order will be cancelled and the material put up for sale.

*Any discrepancies in the availability of products will be promptly communicated to the Customer by telephone or e-mail within 24/48 hours from receipt of the order.

How can I check the status of my order?

You can easily check your order status from the user control panel in the order section.

Can I modify / cancel my order?

All orders can be modified / cancelled no later than the receipt of the shipping confirmation.

Therefore, it will be necessary to promptly contact customer service by telephone (011 34 12 12 10) or by e-mail to orders @ ciaobikeitaly.com by entering the order number and username in the message.

In case of cancellation, the entire amount paid minus 2% of processing costs of the order will be refunded.

Legal / Support

Can I exercise my right of withdrawal?

CiaoBikeItaly complies with the laws in force and according to the Consumer Code (art. 52 et seq.) you can exercise the right of withdrawal within and no later than 14 days from receipt of the goods. For complete and detailed information, please visit the dedicated page.

When is the right of withdrawal excluded?

The right of withdrawal, which can be viewed entirely on this page, is governed by the General Conditions of Sale and does not apply:

  • Products made to measure or customized
  • sealed Products which cannot be returned for hygienic reasons (health protection) and have been opened after delivery
  • Products that conform perfectly to the description and are returned with obvious signs of use
  • the absence of the original outer packaging and/or the original inner packaging
  • the absence of integrating elements and accessories of the product or anomalies in the product itself
  • damage to the product due to causes other than transport.

How should I proceed in case of defective or incorrect goods?

In the case of a different Product, we will replace it on condition that the customer notifies CiaoBikeItaly within 24 hours from the date of receipt and subject to the availability of the Product.

Once the disputed problem has been verified, we will send the component or replacement Product to the Customer free of charge in the shortest possible time. The replacements will be made at the shipping address entered during purchase.

In the case of defective goods, the General Product Warranty Conditions apply.

Are the products purchased on CiaoBikeItaly guaranteed?

All products sold and manufactured by us are covered by the legal warranty (24 months) of articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code.

Warranty claims may therefore be exercised provided that the product has been used correctly and in full compliance with its intended purpose and with the provision of any technical documentation / instructions for use (attached to the product).
